Filter media from Herding were developed and continue to be developed by practitioners for practitioners. Tomorrow's environmental requirements are already satisfied by Herding^® filter media today.

The base body (rigid) is sintered and then coated. All Herding filter media are classified therefore as mechanical surface filters which can be cleaned online.

They are generally characterized by a very high separation rates < 0.2 mg/m³ (depending on the dust) and by a service life of up to 15 years and more.

They cover a temperature range up to 450° C (842° F).

Specifics

All filter media are manufactured in-house in accordance with the highest quality and inspection requirements. Each filter element receives its own ID (RFID). The coating used is not a sensitive membrane but a microporous and hydrophobic PTFE coating which is embedded in the base body with little destructive effect.
